This page is template text, not legal advice. Software sold as a subscription to businesses is governed by the contract you sign with each customer, and a website terms page does not replace it. What belongs here is the part that applies to anyone reading the site. Consult a lawyer and adapt every paragraph below to what your company actually offers before publishing.

What these terms cover

These terms cover this website. Use of the Turnhouse platform is governed by the subscription agreement signed with each customer, and where the two differ, that agreement is the one that applies.

The website

You may read this site, quote it and link to it. The text, the layout and the images are ours or licensed to us.

What is on this site is a description, not an offer

Prices, limits and features on this site describe the product as it is today. They are not a quotation and they do not create a contract. What you are buying is what the subscription agreement says you are buying.

What we do not promise here

This site makes no claim about uptime, response times or performance. Those belong in a service level agreement, where they can be defined, measured and enforced. A number printed on a marketing page is a number nobody can hold anyone to.

Demo requests

A demo request is a request for a conversation. It does not commit either of us to anything, and we may decline it — for example when the product is plainly the wrong fit, which we would rather say in an email than in the thirtieth minute of a call.

Third-party names

The integrations page names other companies’ products so that you can tell whether Turnhouse connects to something you already use. Those names belong to their owners, and naming them does not imply that they endorse us.

Getting your data out

State how a customer exports their data and how long they have to do it after a subscription ends. This is the question a careful buyer asks before they sign, and a terms page that does not answer it invites them to ask it in a procurement email instead.

Which law applies

Name the governing law and the courts. It is one sentence and it is the one sentence a business customer’s legal team looks for first.
